Illusion vs. Reality
This shit is real.
And I got inspired by my morning routine of straightening my hair. Lol
The internet is a vile place at times. You don’t even know what is real or fake anymore. People put on this front to appear as if they were so much cooler, so much more successful and richer than they actually are.
How their inner souls can be ok with that, I don’t know.
Then there are those that are “all about transparency and vulnerability” but they are putting it on so hard that it seems as though that no one could ever be this damaged on the internet.
What is real and what isn’t? It’s hard to tell really.
Sometimes I wish I didn’t have to do all my business online. People were so much more connected and not full of crap when the internet wasn’t a huge thing and filters could make people look skinnier or make your face look 30 years younger and flowers are growing out of your forehead.
I have NOT once used a skinny filter on myself (I won’t lie, I thought about it). No wonder so many girls feel the need to be skinnier and prettier and have Instagram EVERYTHING.
So what can we do to tell apart illusion from reality?
I think, following people for a while helps. Researching a lot helps. And your gut feeling helps. When you think it’s too good to be true… it usually is.
When I launch any of my courses I will say up front: Sure, these results are achievable and I have done it. (if I can do it, I mean… common…. ) But not everyone will do it.
So many factors come into it.
But at the end of the day, we are all people. We are made the same. We are made out of the same material. The only thing that differs is how we think and react/act on our thought.
Do we put them into action right away? DO WE HAVE A VICTIM MENTALITY AND THINK because OF OUR UPBRINGING WE CANNOT BE BETTER THAN OTHERS?
I hope you don’t. You can be and do and achieve whatever you want to!!!
Don’t take these skinny bitches and people with jet planes in their photos as a real-life example. If it is true and what they look like and have achieved is a fact, there is a lot of work involved to upkeep that achievement. And there was a lot of work at the front end.
I hope that one day these illusionists understand that this has changed our future forever.
Social media changed everything.
It will change my kids’ future. But I know, that the way I bring them up is to make them real, caring and go-getters that don’t worry about all the fake stuff out there. This is what I owe that generation. ————
Ps: Not long now and I will reveal the launch date for my new 8 weeks online program “LAUNCH IT”, where you will discover how to launch a product or service people ACTUALLY need and want and build your very own tribe that are your ideal clients.
